Why Plants?

  • Most people have either been affected personally or had a loved one affected by big scary diseases like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. My "strategy" for many years was to try to eat healthy (sometimes), follow popular diets when my weight crept up, and get regular check-ups HOPING not to hear any of those scary words. Well, hope didn't work in my case, and it isn't the best strategy.
  • The good news is... most chronic diseases are preventable, treatable, and (in some cases) reversible by following a healthy diet and lifestyle. And these steps don't involve restricting portion size or counting calories or macros. You can reduce disease risk & increase energy without feeling hungry or deprived. How amazing is that?!?

Plants for Performance

Sure, plants might help me live longer and feel better, but will cutting back on meat & dairy make me weak? (This was my biggest fear when I considered changing my diet.)  The answer is...  absolutely not!  Plants not only help IMPROVE performance in sports, but also in the bedroom.  That's right!  This 2-minute trailer is a great overview / teaser, but you'll have to watch the full Game Changers documentary on Netflix to see the bedroom study ;-)
